Use Of Our Services
Last updated: Oct 2026
These Terms of Service set out the conditions for accessing securityblogs.com.au and using the services offered by SecurityBlogs (“we”, “us” or “our”). By visiting the website or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms. Any service-specific proposal or statement of work will apply where it expressly differs from these Terms.
Services We Provide
SecurityBlogs offers digital marketing and publishing services for the security industry, including SEO, AI visibility support, Google and Bing advertising management, website design, directory listings, guest publishing and sponsored content. The scope, deliverables and timing of each paid engagement are confirmed in the relevant proposal or statement of work.
Acceptable Website Use
You must use our website lawfully and responsibly. You must not interfere with its operation, attempt to access restricted systems without permission, misuse website features, or reproduce website material without the necessary authorisation.
Client Responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate information, approvals and access reasonably required for us to perform the agreed services. You are responsible for protecting your account credentials and notifying us of suspected unauthorised access. Advertising budgets are generally paid by you directly to the relevant platform, such as Google or Microsoft, and remain subject to that platform’s own terms and policies.
Fees, Invoices and Payment
Service fees and payment arrangements are set out in the applicable proposal or statement of work. Unless stated otherwise, prices exclude applicable GST and other taxes. Invoices are payable within 14 days, and ongoing retainers are invoiced in advance. If an invoice remains unpaid, we may issue a written reminder and pause work if payment is still outstanding after a further 7 days. Refunds are handled in accordance with the applicable agreement and any rights that cannot be excluded by law.
No Promise of Marketing Outcomes
We perform our services with reasonable care and skill, but search engines, AI platforms, advertising networks and other third parties control many factors that affect results. We therefore do not promise specific search rankings, website traffic, AI citations or placements, enquiries, leads or sales.
Guest Posts, Sponsored Content and Directory Listings
Guest submissions and sponsored content are subject to the applicable Guest Post Guidelines and Terms and must be submitted through the designated website form. We may review, edit, decline or remove content that does not meet our requirements or is inaccurate or misleading. Paid links will be qualified as “sponsored” or “nofollow”, as appropriate under applicable search engine guidance. Directory information must be accurate and kept up to date by the listing owner.
Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, material published on our website is owned by SecurityBlogs or used with permission and may not be copied without authorisation. Once all agreed fees have been paid, ownership of client-specific deliverables transfers as provided in the relevant agreement. We retain rights to our pre-existing tools, templates, processes and know-how.
Consumer Rights and Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or guarantees that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable rights under the Australian Consumer Law. To the extent permitted by law, any limitation or remedy for liability will be applied only where legally valid. Neither party will be liable for indirect or consequential loss to the extent that such exclusion is permitted by law.
Privacy and Confidential Information
We handle personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Each party should take reasonable care to protect confidential information received through an engagement and use it only for relevant business purposes, subject to any legal disclosure obligations.
Ending an Engagement
Ending an ongoing service, including any required notice period, is governed by the applicable proposal or statement of work. You remain responsible for fees for work performed and approved costs incurred up to the effective end date. Subject to payment and the applicable agreement, we will arrange handover of completed deliverables and relevant account access.
Updates to These Terms and Applicable Law
We may revise these Terms by publishing an updated version on the website. Any change to an existing engagement will apply in accordance with the relevant agreement and applicable law. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Australian state or territory applicable to the business, subject to any mandatory legal requirements.
